Our client is a major player in the fresh prepared food industry, creating high-quality, innovative products for some of the UK’s biggest retailers.

 

They’re now looking for two Insights Manager's (one permanent and one 12 month FTC) to join their commercial and marketing team to help drive data-led decision-making across category and consumer strategy.

 

Ways of working: 2-3 days a week in the office.

The job…

 

As Insights Manager, you’ll lead the consumer and category insights agenda across several key product areas. You'll be responsible for transforming data into engaging, actionable insights that influence commercial strategy, innovation pipelines, and customer relationships.

 

You’ll manage and deliver research projects, present compelling narratives to senior stakeholders, and act as the go-to category and consumer expert. This role is pivotal in ensuring the voice of the shopper is represented at every stage of decision-making, from NPD to commercial planning.

You… what are we looking for?

 

  • Experience in an insights or category role, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills - you’ll know how to turn data into a clear, engaging narrative.

  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.

  • Able to interpret consumer trends and shopper behaviour to support category growth.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively.
