We are supporting one of the giants of the UK FMCG scene on the search for a Product Development Technologist.

 

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 pa

Benefits: Pension, Healthcare, Life Assurance, 25 days holidays

The role ..

 

In this exciting new vacancy this role will work with the sensory and marketing teams to set benchmarks and product assessments. You will be a real ‘foodie’ with a passion for creative, innovative and consumer trend-based product development, creating ideas into brilliant flavourful products to expand the businesses product portfolio. You will be instrumental in leading scale-up development, delivering R&D programmes and monitoring current trends. You’ll be responsible for progressing all aspects of document control and process for projects, link to the technical support function at all sites of manufacture, and ensuring quality standards are set.

You..

 

You will be passionate about food, with a flair for creative innovative trend-based product development. Qualifications such as a BSc Food Science/Technology or related degree, HNC Food Science/Technology, BTEC Food Science would be advantageous, but our client is open to other food related non-science degrees / qualifications, for example culinary / chef-based qualifications and experience would also be considered. Knowledge / experience of manufacturing processes, or experience in pasteurisation / sterilisation would also be great!
