Our client is a premium food brand known for its quality, heritage, and ambition. With significant retail presence across the UK and exciting growth plans ahead, they are now seeking a Senior National Account Manager to join their commercial team.

 

Salary: £50,000-60,000 + bonus and car allowance

 

Ways of working:

 

Home-based role with travel to customer sites and team meetings across the UK and team meetings once a month.

The job…

 

As Senior National Account Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for a portfolio of major UK grocery accounts. You’ll lead the delivery of profitable growth through strong commercial planning, pricing, and promotional execution, while helping increase brand visibility and availability on shelf.

 

You’ll be responsible for building customer relationships at all levels, negotiating pricing and promotional strategies, and working cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and NPD teams to ensure seamless service delivery. You'll play a key role in growing both branded and own-label business and help shape long-term customer plans.

You… what are we looking for?

 

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager working with UK grocery multiples.

  • Track record of managing P&L and delivering against commercial targets.

  • Strong commercial acumen and confident in pricing, promotion, and negotiation.

  • Experience working across both branded and own-label product lines.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

  • Confident working cross-functionally and leading customer meetings.

  • Ability to travel across the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.
