Our client is a one of UK's leading B2B ingredient business. With a strong technical background and a reputation for collaborative partnerships, they’re now looking for a Technical Sales Manager to lead key accounts and drive new business opportunities.
Salary: up to £70,000 + bonus and car or car allowance
Ways of working:
Home-based role with UK-wide travel to customers and occasional team meetings (monthly or as needed).

The job…
As Technical Sales Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of retail and manufacturing customers - delivering against commercial targets while playing a hands-on role in customer trials, NPD projects, and day-to-day account management.
This is a varied and customer-facing role, combining technical knowledge with commercial skill. You’ll lead meetings with buyers, collaborate with internal functions (NPD, Technical, Ops, Supply Chain), and actively seek out new opportunities to grow profitable business.
You’ll also attend trade shows, retail exhibitions, and customer events to represent the brand and spot market opportunities.

You…what are we looking for?
Experience in food manufacturing sales or technical account management
Experience in a B2B sales role.
An understanding of the food industry.
Technical food experience would be great, but training will be provided.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of margin, pricing, and contract negotiation.
Great relationship builder - credible, proactive, and confident with buyers and technical contacts.
Willingness to travel and be hands-on with customers and internal stakeholders.
